Tucson based nonprofit organization, From One Mother to Another, is holding a fund raising event on September 13th, 2008 at the Leo Rich Theater at 7pm.

Press ReleaseTucson, AZ- From One Mother to Another is a Tucson based nonprofit committed to the children in our community. The organization was started by Elizabeth Caraballo and Naomi Caraballo-Green. We believe to maximize our impact on Tucson’s children we must support their families. The support comes in the form of diapers, wipes, strollers, clothes, cribs, blankets, and much more. Everything we give has been donated to us from the community. We then deliver the donations directly to the families. We help families in need, no questions asked. WIC and a variety of other community resource centers help us find the families in need. We have delivered over 1,600 parcels of clothing, 150 packages of diapers, 125 pairs of shoes, 60 car seats, 55 strollers and 50 cribs. We have helped 120 children in 90 days. From One Mother to Another is not affiliated with any religious or political institutions.

We will be holding a fund raising event on September 13th, 2008, The Art of Spoken Word. The event will be held at the Leo Rich Theater at 7pm.

Tickets are $15 or $10 if you bring an unopened package of diapers
to donate to The Southern Arizona Diaper Bank.
The Art of Spoken Word was created to explore the different artistic expressions of the spoken word and how that phrase has been interpreted throughout the years by a variety of cultures. The performers range from The Human Project to the Tucson Taiko Kyokai Drummers.Source: From One Mother to Another
