Charlie Bowles

Charlie Bowles brings more than two decades of real estate management, marketing and home building experience to his position as vice president, marketing and sales for Diamond Ventures, Inc.

Mr. Bowles joined the firm in 1999 after spending 11 years at Estes Homes, a leading production homebuilder. From 1985-88, Mr. Bowles was president of Cottonwood Homes, the operations unit for the homes at La Paloma in Tucson. From 1983-85, he was co-owner and vice president of Crain and Associates Management Co., and was responsible for managing and marketing 11 apartment communities in Tucson and the greater Phoenix area.

Mr. Bowles has served on the board of directors of the National Home Builders Association and was chairman of the organization's national education committee, which helped write and develop guidelines for the nationally recognized MIRM (Member Institute Residential Marketing) program. He is on the executive board of the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association and president of the board for Tu Nidito Children and Family Services.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Bowles grew up in Phoenix. He attended Phoenix Junior College, Grand Canyon University and Fuller Seminary.



Chris Edwards

Chris is owner and president of Tucson Appliance Company. One of Tucson's "40 Under 40," Chris has been a community business leader for more than ten years.

Chris has said that he loves the small town atmosphere of Tucson, and it's obviously good for his business.  His folksy television ads harken back to a simpler time when local business owners came on the screen to sell there products.

Edwards combines an entrepreneurial spirit and business savvy as a local business owner with a commitment to the community.through involvement in a variety of charitable activities, including Habitat for Humanity and Project Santa.


Dr. Lisa Fogle

Dr. Lisa Fogle has been a dentist in private practice for over 25 years in Tucson.  Together with her staff, Dr. Fogle is committed to providing excellence in all aspects of general dentistry with an emphasis on preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry.   The office participates in HopeFest, a program for community outreach helping those less fortunate with dental health needs.

Dr. Fogle received her BA from UCLA and her degree in dentistry from University of the Pacific, San Francisco.  She has studied forensic dentistry at University of Texas in San Antonio.  She is a member of the American Dental Association and the AZ State Dental Association.  She has traveled to 5 continents collaborating on missions dealing with global dental issues.

Lisa has served in the past on the boards of March of Dimes, Sunsounds, Angel Charity for Children, Foundation Board of the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.  She is a dedicated supporter of the Tucson Museum of Art, Steele Childrens Research Center, Amity and TIHAN.

While continuing to practice dentistry, Dr. Fogle decided to pursue her ambitions in art and opened a contemporary art gallery in downtown Tucson from 2005-2008.  The mission of the gallery was to bring fine art to Tucson from established artists of national and international acclaim.  The solo and group exhibitions were highlighted with events and workshops and included fundraising events for charitable causes.

Once voted one of Tucson’s Sensational Singles, Lisa is married to Ray Novak and has raised a son, Nathan.





Chuck George


KOLD-TV 13 Meteorologist Chuck George is a self-proclaimed perpetual student. He always wants to be the first to learn the most recent research in earth science, since the field is ever changing.

Chuck has a Master of Engineering in Water Resources from the University of Arizona and has a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma. (He moved to Tucson for graduate school. Like so many other UA students, he fell in love with the Sonoran Desert and Tucson.) Chuck loves taking the data and findings of the experts on the UA campus and incorporating it into his weathercasts.

During his broadcasting career, Chuck has garnered multiple accolades, including a Rocky Mountain Emmy nomination, a Star Award from the American Women in Radio and Television, and has been named best television meteorologist of the year by Tucson Lifestyle Magazine and the Tucson Weekly.  Chuck also has a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society. Chuck and the First Alert team have an Edward R. Murrow award for the post-Monsoon special entitled "Monsoon Stories."  Chuck is also a two-time Houston Press Club Television Meteorologist of the Year.

Chuck says he loves what he does because he is able to teach a mini science class on each of the evening shows.

Chuck George joined KOLD News 13 in February 2003.  He also served as Chief Meteorologist at KOLD back in the mid-1990s before leaving for a few years for a job as morning meteorologist at KPRC, the Post Newsweek station in Houston, Texas.



Bill Holmes

Bill Holmes, Community Relations Manager for Greater Arizona, began his financial services career as a store manager in 2003.  Bill has been recognized as a leader in providing exceptional customer service and helping to fulfill all of his customers’ financial needs. 

Bill has parlayed his extensive community service and volunteerism into his position at Wells Fargo.  Currently he is Chairman of the board of directors for: the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation, incoming board president of the Saguaro Girl Scouts, board member of the El Rio Foundation, Junior Achievement, Metropolitan Education Commission and the Sunnyside Unified School District’s Learning Community Coalition Leaders group.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Bill was the Senior Staff Assistant to Dr. Linda Arzoumanian, the Pima County School Superintendent.  He was the liaison between the county school office, the AZ Department of Education and the seventeen Pima County school districts in the areas of educational technologies, grant writing and evaluation and the federal governments E-Rate program. 

In his current role as Community Relations Manager, Bill oversees Wells Fargo’s community giving program as well as the volunteer and community development efforts in southern Arizona.

Bill grew up in Yuma, AZ and is proud to say that he’s a Yuma High Criminal and an alumnus of Up With People.



Liby Lentz

Liby is the Corporate Human Resources Director for Pima Medical Institute, a medical vocational training school with ten campuses throughout the Pacific Northwest and Southwestern United States.

Liby holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and Masters in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix. She has been with PMI for over 15 years and during her tenure she and her staff have built a department that has implemented several innovative employee programs and policies, all of which have contributed to the company's growth and long-term success.

In her career in Human Resources Liby has served as President of the local SHRM of Greater Tucson chapter. She also is a past State Chair of the annual Human Resources State Conference. She supports many charitable organizations within the community, 
including Gospel Rescue Mission and Faith Ministries.

Liby grew in up in Madrid, Spain and is one of eight children. In addition to a passion for baking, she is an avid swimmer and golfer, which comes in handy when you hit your
drive into a water hazard.



C Mary Okoye
 
C. Mary Okoye graduated from the University of Arizona College of Law and was subsequently admitted to the state bar of Arizona.
 
She also attended the Georgetown Law Center in Washington, D.C., her third year of law school, while interning with the office of Senator Dennis DeConcini.
 
During her career as an attorney she has worked in private practice, serviced as a Tucson City Court Magistrate, and was Pima County Public Fiduciary prior to accepting her current position with the City of Tucson as Director of Intergovernmental Relations.
 
As Director of Intergovernmental Relations for the City of Tucson, C Mary Okoye is responsible for developing, representing and advocating the interests of the City of Tucson by fostering and maintaining the City’s relationships with other governmental entities on the local, state, and federal levels.



Patsy Sable

A native of Tucson who returned in her adult life to make Tucson her home, Patsy graduated from Louisiana Tech with a B.S. in Business and earned a masters degree in Contracts and Grants Management, from The American University Kogod College of Business.  She is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager.

Founder of Concord Solutions LLC, she provided IT Security and Privacy consulting services for the United States Postal Service and partnered with commercial IT firms, including Northrop Grumman Corporation and Unisys on strategic planning, oversight and marketing initiatives. She previously served as VP Contracts and Mergers/Acquisitions for PRC Corporation, prior to its acquisition by Northrop Grumman.

She is married to Ron Sable.  They have two girls and five fabulous grandchildren. Patsy is an avid golfer and swimmer and is a member of the U.S. Masters Swim program.  Patsy and her family have volunteered their time with the disadvantaged, and she has served on the Board of Directors of New Beginnings for Woman and Children and is a member of the Women Leaders in Philanthropy of United Way.





Kevin Skinner

Kevin is the Senior Pastor at La Aldea Spiritual Community. Aldea is a progressive Christian church and a community of spiritual seekers located on the northwest side of town. Kevin has been a part of the Tucson community for the past 15 years. He is committed to creating a church that partners with other non-profits to serve those too often marginalized. He often quotes “the prophet” Ziggy Marley often by saying, “Love is my religion”!

He holds a Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary and a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Denver Seminary.

Kevin has been married to his high school sweetheart, Sylvia, for 27 years. Together they have three sons, David (married to Bethany), Matthew, and Michael.

Kevin thinks dancing is magic!



Stephanie Sklar
, Executive Director, Social Venture Partners Greater Tucson  

Stephanie Sklar, a cum laude graduate of Vassar College, earned her M.A.T. in English from Brown University and studied post-graduate business at George Washington University. Stephanie serves as the first Executive Director, for the new Social Venture Partners of Greater Tucson (SVPGT), promoting strategic philanthropy via a venture capital approach to effect positive social change in Tucson.  Sklar also serves as a gubernatorial appointee to the Commission on Trial Court Appointments for the Pima County Superior Court. 

Stephanie also worked with the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault and received the Center's 2008 Compass Award for her work to end violence against women.  She also served as the executive director of the Arizona League of Conservation Voters.  Prior to settling in Arizona Sklar was vice-president for public affairs for the National Wildlife Federation, and vice president for communications at the Nature Conservancy.  Sklar was appointed by Ronald Reagan as communications director for the President's Commission on Americans Outdoors. She was also an associate director of the Small Business Center for the Chamber of Commerce of the United States.
