 Civic Group Diaper Drives

Hundreds of employees of firms all over the Tucson area collect diapers for the Diaper Bank. If your firm would like to hold a Diaper Drive to help needy individuals all over your community, please let us help you!

 

We hope these ideas help kick-start your firm’s Diaper Drive!

1.    Ask for help!  Committees always have more fun, and it will be helpful if you have someone to toss ideas around with.

2.    Do you have groups within your organization?  Create a mini competition among them.  Come up with something special for the winning group.

3.    Challenge another civic group or club.  The possibilities are endless!

4.    Decorate a central collection area.  Playpens make great props, and some baby shower decorations will top it off.  A large box wrapped in baby wrapping paper works great, too.

5.    We have baby bottle banks that you can bring to a meeting for a month.  Those coins and dollars add up fast.  Did you know that we are able to purchase 5 diapers for every $1.00 donation?

6.    Have a Raffle or a Bake Sale.

7.    Advertise in your newsletter.  Place fliers everywhere you can.

8.    Adopt a specific agency who is receiving diapers and set a goal to provide all their diapers for the year.  Go to www.diaperbank.org for a list of our 55 distribution centers.
