Diaper Need Awareness Week

The Arizona Diaper Bank is raising awareness during National Diaper Need Awareness Week this Sept. 15–21, 2025, to highlight the reality that far too many families in Arizona cannot afford basic health essentials like diapers.

Diaper need is a hidden public health crisis:
Nearly 1 in 2 U.S. families with young children struggle to afford enough diapers. In Arizona, 42% of families with infants and toddlers live below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, and diapers are not covered by government programs like SNAP or WIC. Without a sufficient supply, parents are often forced to choose between food, rent, and keeping their child clean and healthy.

How the Community Can Help

Donate Diapers: Host a diaper drive at your workplace, school, or place of worship.

Give Online: Every $30 provides a one-week supply of diapers for a child in need. Donations can be made securely at www.DiaperBank.org.

Advocate: Share and spread information during Diaper Need Awareness Week to raise awareness and inspire action across Arizona.

Each month, the Arizona Diaper Bank distributes more than 250,000 diapers and hygiene products through its statewide network of 55+ partner agencies, reaching over 60,000 infants, children, seniors, and adults with disabilities annually.
